Aashiqui 2
Aashiqui 2 is a remake of the 1990s romantic-drama-musical Aashiqui, directed and co-produced by Mahesh Bhatt. T-Series and Mahesh Bhatt collaborated again to create this new film and conducted online auditions last year for the lead cast. However, they were unable to find what they were looking for and eventually ended up casting Aditya Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the leading roles. Mohit Suri directed Aashiqui 2.
The Aashiqui soundtrack was hugely successful and had 11 tracks composed by Nadeem Shravan. The Aashiqui 2 OST also has 11 tracks, composed by three different composers. Mithoon composed three tracks, Jeet Gangulli composed six songs, and Ankit Tiwari was given two tracks to compose. Arijit Singh has sung the most, with five songs in this album. The song “Tum Hi Ho” was released before the album, which received huge success, and the audience was eagerly waiting for the album release. Finally, the wait is over, and the album is here.
