The squad is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language war film written, directed and produced by Nilesh Sahay. It is also produced by Brajesh Sahaya, Mohan Gopinath, and Zee Cinema. Shobha Nihalani co-wrote the screenplay along with Nilesh Sahay. The film features Rinzing Denzongpa, Pooja Batra and Malvika Raaj in lead roles. It was based on a counter-terror operation in POK (Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir), where we’re introduced to Bhim Rana, a specially trained commando with NERO — National Emergency Response Operations. The film premiered on ZEE5 on 12 November 2021. The squad is the first Indian film to be shot in Belarus. Principal photography of the film commenced on 23 September 2019 at Belarusfilm studios in Minsk. The film centres around an elite STF squad tasked with the responsibility of protecting the granddaughter of a scientist who possesses a blueprint of a lethal cyborg programme.

Short Story Line:-
The movie is based on the counter-terror operation in POK (Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir), where we’re introduced to Bhim Rana, a specially trained commando with NERO — National Emergency Response Operations. The six-year-old granddaughter of one of India’s renowned scientists has gone missing and what’s worse, special forces of several countries are on the lookout for her. An elite squad led by Bhim Rana (Rinzing Denzongpa) is formed to execute the rescue mission and bring ‘Hindustan Ki Beti’ back home. While the mission is successful, our hero fails in saving a small girl who has a ticking bomb tied to her and that’s the baggage he carries as he quits the force soon afterwards.
